History

On September 5, 1937

A congregation met in a tent on the premises of the Jerusalem Baptist Church and formed the New Hope Baptist Church. The Presbytery consisted of the following members:

The Church was organized with the following officers:

The church met at the home of Rev. F. L. Fiddler and formed the Sunday School department. The Charter Members of the church were:
